The Atrium

Offering an exceptional event setting the Chester Beatty Main Hall Atrium will immediately impress. With its soaring ceiling filtering natural light through the glass roof and tranquil water feature, the space is truly unique.

A stunning venue, the Main Hall Atrium is the perfect setting for your event, from champagne receptions to awards ceremonies and corporate dinners. With its expansive open and flexible layout, the Main Hall can accommodate large scale events whilst maintaining a warm intimate setting. We encourage you to begin your evening with an exclusive viewing of the exhibition galleries before beginning the formalities of your evening.

Lecture Theatre

The room offers a flexible space for meetings, presentations, conferences and launches. It is fully air conditioned, sound-proofed, and allows for flexible audio-visual requirements, making it an ideal conference facility. The room is fitted with a state-of-the-art projector, laptop, two plasma screen TVs, a newly fitted sound system and mic fitted podium. The sophisticated audio visual system can be controlled from the technician’s box. Beverages, finger food and light catering can be laid out in the main hall atrium for guests on arrival.

The Board Room

Nestled in the Clock Tower, this elegant boardroom can seat twelve people in highly appointed and charming surroundings. Perfect for an intimate boardroom meeting or seminar, it is ideal for focused group meetings with natural daylight and fully equipped for your business needs. It features a solid oak board room table, antique wooden chairs, large windows and exquisite artwork providing a prestigious and impressive setting for meetings. Energizing refreshments can be served throughout the day in the meeting room or in the Atrium.

The Roof Garden

A tranquil oasis – designed as a contemporary Irish garden using natural and indigenous materials and divided into a series of different surfaces: stone, hardwood, gravel and ornamental grasses. This elevated space offers the perfect backdrop for exceptional events from champagne receptions, corporate functions to book launches and performances. Host an exclusive event to remember and enjoy our beautifully themed garden that is sure to give your event a unique atmosphere. The garden is accessible via elevator from the ground floor main hall.

The Silk Road Cafe

Located in the Chester Beatty with a view over the Dubhlinn gardens and next to the Coach House, the Silk Road Café food is based on Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine and reflects some of the countries represented in the Chester Beatty’s collections. Middle Eastern, North African, Mediterranean, vegetarian and celiac friendly dishes are created by our chefs – with the focus in each dish on home cooking, using only the freshest ingredients and following halal rules. You will find a selection of 12 dishes that change daily all served with rice and vegetables or with a selection of our 12 vegetarian salads. We also offer soups, paninis and freshly made falafels each day. All our cakes, biscuits and breads are homemade and you will find mixed berry scones with chocolate brownies, fruit tarts, fig cake and baklava.
