Textiles
From lavishly-embroidered court robes to fine silk curtains protecting miniature paintings, a surprising variety of textiles can be found in the Chester Beatty collection. While more decorative fabrics were employed for book covers and scroll mounts, artists across Asia also used plain silk and cotton for painting.
