Join other mums, dads and grandparents and their pre-school kids (under 6 years) for a fun-filled series of short multi-sensory hands-on activities.

Silk Worm Families

Our much-loved Silk Worm Club has been re-branded as Silk Worm Families and is now a family programme for kids and their parents/guardians.

This dynamic programme will give families the chance to explore Chester Beatty’s collection. Listen to a story, search for treasures or create your own original artwork. Silk Worm Families does not require booking, however places are limited.

Family Drop-In Events

New drop-in activities for all ages are on offer, exploring the Chester Beatty collections through art-making, gallery activities, and story time.

These events are free of charge and suitable for children of all ages and their parents or guardians. Materials provided. Free no booking required.

Bilingual Storytelling

Do you speak more than one language or are you interested in learning a new one? Then these bilingual storytelling events are for you.

Suitable for pre-school children and their parents or guardians. Free, no booking required. In association with Mother Tongues Ireland.
