Bloomsday Live Online Workshop for Families: A walk through Ulysses
Let’s take a stroll through a timeless seascape: Sandymount Strand, a place very dear to Dublin. To capture its eternal allure, we will bring this special place to the page, by using a variety of watercolour techniques.
Am I walking into eternity?
-Watercolour Paper – any size, smooth or textured (please bring a number of pages)
-Watercolour brushes round – small, medium and large
-Watercolour paints – red, blue, yellow, orange, white,
-Plate/Palette – for paints and mixing colours
-Fine/Thin Black felt pen/maker
-Have an image of Sandymount strand, including Poolbeg and the striped towers. (You can have this printed or on your phone. Or you can just copy our artist.
-Liquid Acrylic white paint
Our artist Jen will be using the following colours but you can use any watercolours:
Cadmium red, burnt sienna, Ultramarine blue, Cadmium yellow, raw umber, Chinese white, Cerulian blue.
