Bookbindings made in Egypt and Syria during the reign of the Mamluk Sultanate (1250-1516) represent the pinnacle of Islamic book design. Their decoration is refined and complex.

Join Head of Conservation, Kristine Rose-Beers, as she introduces these books which represent a unique binding structure.

This tour has been recorded to highlight International Museums Day.
