Intercultural schools project – Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for teachers and educators
The Chester Beatty is delighted to offer CPD training for eligible teachers and educators. Through this programme, participants will have an opportunity to explore the role of museums in supporting intercultural education, become aware of new digital learning resources available for schools and explore methods of intercultural learning and dialogue in an interactive workshop setting.
11am-4pm (lunch and refreshments included). This event is free
- A minimum of seven days’ notice of cancellation is required to allow us to allocate the places to those on the waiting list.

The Intercultural Schools Project- After several years of work to develop new ways to engage primary and post-primary schools through the unique Chester Beatty museum collections, the Learning and Education department is excited to announce an 18-month project to develop and build our first Intercultural Museum programme for schools (2018-2020). Our project partners include Mary Immaculate School, Limerick and Maynooth Universities, the Intercultural Education Service (Education Authority of Northern Ireland) and the UK Heritec Education Consultancy.
