Mindful exploration: Symbolism in Chinese Art

Apples, aubergines, pomegranates and oranges are often depicted in Chinese art and have symbolic meanings. Meet Hoi Shan Mak and learn how to create a traditional Chinese painting while learning about hidden messages of good fortune, long life and fertility. Practice your strokes on water painting paper and see them disappear before applying the final artwork on rice paper. This workshop has been organised to celebrate Chinese New Year.  Limited to 15 participants, €35.00 per person, materials provided.
