To Be Irish: Online Winter Storytelling

To Be Irish: Online Winter Storytelling

No matter where you are in the world this holiday season, connect with family and friends abroad, and join Róisín Murphy with a hot chocolate to listen to some cosy Christmas stories. Róisín tells the tale of Juanita, a little girl from Mexico and her Christmas wish to be part of the local parade. The second story is about a poor German girl with nothing to her name but shooting stars.

The video will be available here from the 19 Dec at 11am.

What does it mean to be Irish at Christmas? For many people it is a celebration of family, friends and connecting with those we have missed throughout the year. This year we want to help you connect with those you miss most, perhaps they are across the seas or in the next county but perhaps you cannot get together this festive season as you normally would.
