COVID-19 Guidance
The safety of our staff and visitors is paramount to us and in line with the Irish Government’s Resilience and Recovery 2020 – 2021: Plan for Living with COVID-19 and the Work Safely Protocol, we have implemented a number of measures for you to enjoy your visit in a safe and friendly environment. We kindly ask you to behave responsibly throughout your visit, to ensure that your safety, and that of other visitors and our staff is protected.
Due to Governmental regulation and to protect the health and welfare of our visitors and staff, sanitising hands on entry and the use of face masks in all public areas of the museum is required.
The Silk Road Café is excluded from this requirement.
Please follow our COVID-19 guidance
Wearing a face mask is required in all public areas of the museum except for the Silk Road Café, so don’t forget to bring yours
Use the hand sanitisers when you enter and throughout the museum
Please respect the 2 metre social distance requirement, particularly in the galleries, Gift Shop and Silk Road Café
Please observe all displayed Covid-19 signage and one way floor path markings while visiting the museum
If you begin to feel unwell during your visit please contact a member of our Visitor Services staff
Wash your hands often and adopt good respiratory etiquette
- Please do not attend the museum if you are feeling unwell or have been asked to self-isolate or restrict your movements.
- If you begin to feel unwell during your visit please contact a member of our Visitor Services staff who will be able to provide assistance.
- All tours and group based activities have been suspended until further notice.
